International Politics

International Politics refers to the study and practice of political relations and dynamics between sovereign states and other international actors, such as international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and multinational corporations. It encompasses a wide range of issues, including diplomacy, conflict resolution, international law, trade relations, human rights, and environmental policies.

The field examines how countries interact with one another, the influence of global events on national policies, and the complexities of power, security, and cooperation in a diverse and interconnected world. It also considers how domestic politics can influence international relations and vice versa.

International Politics is often characterized by the struggles for power, interests, and ideology among different nations and is shaped by historical contexts, cultural factors, and economic conditions. The discipline also includes various theories and frameworks, such as realism, liberalism, constructivism, and critical theories, to analyze and understand the behavior of states and other actors in the global arena.
