Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing protective gloves, engage in a contest of strength, speed, and strategy by throwing punches at each other within a defined area called a ring. The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent while avoiding being hit. Fights are usually divided into rounds, and the match can be won by knockout (when one fighter is unable to continue), by decision from the judges based on points scored during the bout, or sometimes by technical knockout (when the referee stops the fight). Boxing has a rich history and is governed by a set of rules and regulations that aim to ensure the safety of the competitors while allowing for competitive engagement. It requires physical fitness, skill, discipline, and tactical thinking, making it both a sporting event and a form of self-defense.
